Why is it bad to swallow chewing gum?

I am chewing gum right now and it has completely lost it’s flavour and I can’t be bothered putting it in the bin. . . . . . There we go. Just swallowed it. Why is it unhealthy to do it anyway? I remember listening to the end of an article on the radio and it said (. . . suggests that people should just swallow their gum, much to the dismay of health experts.) Or something like that.

Hmm…I’m really bored so I’m going to write you people a short story.
No Comments-One day when little Carly was walking home from school when she noticed a bright, shiny candy laying on the sidewalk. Carly unwrapped the shiny, yellow wrapper and popped the hard candy into her mouth. Now, Carly knew that eating things off the ground was not good but the candy was so delicious. Then she started to feel sick and her head started to spin. :[ Carly noticed she was changing into a ________!!!

I’m a sophmore in high school. What should I sell in school?

I want to think of a thing that everyone like but something that teachers won’t care about people having in class. In 8th grade I sold Pixy Stix in school because everyone likes them and theres no other candy like it. However people just threw the wrappers everywhere and teachers got real pissed off. I’m looking for something other than candy that will sell well but won’t upset teachers. I thought about gum but I’d have to sell a lot to make any money at all so I don’t really want to do that. Also the school sell things like reeses and kit kats for like 75 cents so those aren’t a great option. Any food ideas?

Is saying hello to people old fashioned ?

When I enter my apartment building the first thing Isee is the elevator and everytime I see someone standing there waiting I all ways say hello because it’s curtious. It seems like more often than not the person looks me right in the eye and does not respond. I don’t have an issue with people speaking or not but when you look me right in the eye and not respond that tells me how you were raised.
No smile, no nothing. It’s almost as if I did something that totally freaked them out.
