I want to get my boyfriends imediate family a present for christmas, but the thing is his parents have split up and both have families of their own. His mum and his step dad have a girl (12) and a boy (13). i have no idea what to get them and i have no idea what to get his dads family. i dont want to buy them individual gifts as it will be way to expensive. so do you have any ideas?

We just moved to Oklahoma, and my grandma came from outside the country, but she’s in California. My parents and me want to send her a fruit basket and flowers, because we can’t go to California right now, So how can I buy a fruit basket and flowers, where can I buy them, how do I mail them to her without having the fruit expire, and how much would it cost?

I am not saying all Americans …and of course there are parents all over the world that allow their children to become overweight/obese but its definitely more common here in the U.S.

Why ????

Why do we allow our kids to eat to much candy…fast food….why would any parent what their kids to go through the insecurities of been over weight…..it can have such a lasting effect confidence wise but more importantly health wise.

Fast food is ok once a week….candy is ok once a week…..anymore than that and we are really taking days and eventually years of our kids lives.

ok so basically ive been w/ this boy off and on for over a year already and well this time it was going awesome, i couldn’t of asked for better, and we were both so happy. well last friday we were chillin at his house and it was so amazing..we almost had our first time together so it was special. well my ex called and my bf got mad, understandable, but he didn’t know it was my ex..he told me to call him back and put him on speaker and talk to him like i normally do..either way it would of led to a fight so i did as he asked..i asked my ex “hey, are we together” and he busted out with “yea.” and all hell broke loose. my bf knocked my cell out my hand and i busted out in tears and we were fighting really bad, i could tell he was holdin back tears and he was jus so mad that they wouldnt come out. needless to say, he left me..he doesnt trust me at all b/c ive hurt him so much over our time together and its understandable, i know ive done wrong but this time i really wasnt doing anything wrong, that dumb boy was an idiot for saying yes, but my bf and i, we went at it, he tlkd to my mom bout stuff and what to do and how he just doesnt trust me and how hes just done. now when i get really upset, i get really sick. i got really sick and on the way home i was on the fone w/ 3 diffrnt ppl, 2 of which were tryin to calm me down and the 3rd was my ex, i was screaming at him about how much i **** him and how he needs to leave me alone, and that my heart belongs to someone else. [[he ended up threatening to kill me and all kinds of stuff to the point i had to change my number]] but the point is that he’s not in my life, i wasnt cheating on my bf, and i wouldnt dream of it. i was so happy, so in love, couldnt imagine being w/ anybody else..but hes still so hurt and mad and he wont tlk to me so i’ve devised a plan..im going to put together this lil bag of stuff, its got a folder and inside the folder is: a letter to him, telling him how i feel, a letter to his parents explaining and apologizing for hurting their son so much and a piece of construction paper, 2 colors [[for a border]] w/ our picture in the middle and the lyrics to one of our songs in the bg anddd the flaps of the folders will say “i love you” and the other will hve my new numbr, since he doesnt have it. and 2 roses, and a bag full of his fav. candy.

im letting like 5 days go by since everything happend..b/c i wanna give him time to cool off..

okay, at my school the high school and the middle school share buses. when i got on the bus this afternoon everything was normal. about 15 minutes into the ride, my little sister (she’s in 6th, and i’m in 9th) says that a little boy at the back of the bus stole a candy bar from her.

i didn’t really think much of it, because he is just like every other 11 year old boy, and teases girls that he likes (for example, my sister.)

by the time we get home, she tells my parents that he stole a candy bar from her last week and today he grabbed her bookbag and went thru it and then takes the candy bar.

my parents are immediately mad at me because they said that i didn’t take up for her. i don’t wanna get involved in the middle school drama, because at my school, if you get into a fight, then you are automatically retained back a grade and graduate a year late. my parents said that i better handle the situation by tomorrow, or i’m getting all privledges taken away
i don’t wanna go directly to the little boy, because he may get defensive and blow everything out of proportion. he does have an older sister that is in the same grade as me but were not really friends, more like aquantences. i was thinking about asking her, but she has been known for getting in to a lot of fights.

what is the best way to handle the situation without it being made bigger than what it is because i’d really **** to be left back a year over a candy bar!

oh and before i forget, if i talk to his sister, i don’t wanna do it with a lot of people around because she might get defensive.

i love him. hes only 7 yrs old and im like12.
he wont turn in any of his homework and you might think that sounds minor…. but he hasn’t turned in ANY since like kindergarten…
i help him everyday and he does it he just “forgets” to turn it in.

i dont know wat to do with him..
and i dont wanna see him flunk
i am a good student …

so thats not all..
this weekend my parents are going away and im in charge…
my brother does not turn in anything as i told you.
i gave him money to turnin for picture day and hes like just ignored it
i told him to give it to his teacher but he didnt
then after school today i had a talk with him and all he aked me was if he could have candy.
then he just started to kick me and im in horrid pain
i love my brother very much but he makes me cry all the time and he doesnt care if im in pain or watever.

first of all my parents move to the states didn’t grow up here but i was, and they always keep saying that the americans are living in a fantasy world. saying that we never celebrate any holidays except for birthdays, and i never believed in santa b/c my mom told me tha he isn’t real when was like 3 and at the mall i pulled his beard it came off so i was like thats true. never went trick o treating my mom always ought me a big bag od candy and told me to stay home so well all i need is candy so i was like w/e and we don’t celebrate thanksgiving either coz they don’t like turkey but i do. i’m 20 nw but is there any way to change their mind
well i cant cook to save my life, and actually my dad is black born and raised in u.s. and my moms italian and i live with her no idea where my dad is

I live in a neighborhood where about 80% of the children are between the ages 3-8. I don’t want to give out huge candy bars and get complaints from their parents (it’s happened to me in the past.) But I don’t want to disappoint the kids. I also occasionally get Middle School kids, for who I’m going to arrange a seperate bowl for, but what should I give to the little kids?
