Are you giving out candy for Halloween this year?

Me, my little cousins, and my aunt only had 2 people come to our door for halloween. Could race be a factor?
I want to ask this question to see what response i get.
My aunt and uncle who ive been living with for 2 years live in a predominantly white community. We are the only blacks on the street. There are many children around the area as well.
Yet we only had 2 people come up to us for candy. We had the outside decorated and all. After i took my little cousins trick or treating, they sat out with me to help out.
……..but MANY people passed our house up while walking down the street.
This was not the case last year, when we had many people come to the house. But many of them were not from the area who we gave candy to.
So, what would you label this situation as? Something to ignore?
