I’m going to visit my friend today who is at the hospital for mono. I’m already bringing her some candy, and a coloring book and crayons (i know she’s sixteen, but we’re the most childish people I know. :D)

2 Commentsits an old black and white cartoon where these two little children, one boy and one girl, are like dreaming or something and they go to this land where everything is made out of candy.
all i remember is that there are giant ice cream cones. its an old movie from when i was little and i would love to be able to find it so i can watch it again.

I have a 4 year old who keeps taking things from her big sister, my husband & my self. She hides her bounty in her room in various places. She climbed the cupboards to get into a candy bag and I found a stash of wrappers in her closet. She takes anything that looks interesting to her. I’m at a loss here. I haven’t figured out how to punish her for this behavior. Do you have any suggestions? Remember she’s only 4. This morning she was in my purse searching for mints. I heard her running to her room and I knew she had something in her hand. The other day her sister was eating a cookies real slow (she gobbled hers), she leaned over and grabbed it from her hands and popped it in her mouth. I wouldn’t let her swallow it and made her spit it out. It’s not just food, she’s taken my car keys, her sisters toys & jewelry, anything she likes. We bought a key lock for her sisters door. She waits til the one time its left unlocked. Sneaky little ******.
When I get mad at her and tell her that its stealing, she says I know, I’m sorry, I won’t do it again. But she does it again and again
I’m not sure why she’s so greedy. Yet, she’s so generous too. She’ll give you the last bit of whatever she had. We don’t have a lot of sweets in the house, this candy is still from halloween and all the bloody birthday parties.

Does anyone know what a tonneau cover is? I really want to get one for him for Christmas, and I am on a budget too. Anyone know what it is and if I can get it online? He said something about it helping him with gas mileage. He has a Diesel truck so he needs all the help he can get.

Does anyone have a receipe for Peanut Sesame Candy?

I am trying to find a receipe for a peanut brittle type candy. They make it at the Chinese restaurant down the road from where I live. They told me they fry the peanuts in oil, add sugar and sesame seeds. I need directions and measurements.
Also, this is a soft candy. Not like the regular peanut brittle. It is like eating a candy bar made of peanuts

Ideas for essay title?

I wrote an essay for school and I still need a title for it. It is about a childhood event (me stealing candy, a cherry push pop, from a store and the repercussions afterwards). I used lots of allusions towards young hollywood (such as lindsey lohan in rehab) and addictions (my “addiction” being sweets: candy, cake, cookies, etc.). Does anybody have any good ideas about what I can title it? Thanks!
