Do you think that he likes me?
Anyways. Of course, I’m a silly little teenage girl, 13 years old, typical kind of person who’d ask this question. My old school and another school got merged this year, so I’m in a class with a bunch of new people.
I ended up meeting this boy, let’s call him Jess, through my friend, who will be referred to as Adam. I’ve known Adam for a long time, and Adam began to talk about Jess a lot, and eventually I started talking to Jess. We got along really well, and we always ended up sitting very close to each other, even when our desk arrangements were switched!
We began to talk a lot, but there’d still be a lot of awkward silence (we’d be the first two inside from recess, and we’d just sit there, as opposed to talking).
Lately we’ve been talking more, I now know his best friend, let’s call him Patrick, and we get along. Jess talks to me nearly every day, and does adorable things like steal my leftover cookies for “cookie taxes,” teach me all about football with diagrams, explanations, etc., says he’ll buy my sketchbooks for 20 dollars… the list goes on.
I try to hint about my feelings, I smile and laugh even when what he does isn’t too hilarious (to anyone else, but it makes me laugh because, of course, it’s him). Whenever we talk, his eye contact is straight on, he acts differently around me… and I often gaze at him without him noticing… then he turns around to talk to Patrick (who sits right beside me), and I look away ASAP. It’s incredibly obvious.
One time, his other friend (let’s call him Ron) insulted me a little (he’s a player), but I brushed it off and laughed. As I was walking back to my seat, I heard Ron say “…what, LIKE like?”
Jess also is interested in my marks at school, one time constantly asking me which page I’m on. We sort of compete at grades, it’s pretty cute.
Sorry for spontaneous stories, I was rereading this and didn’t think there was much basis for you folks to decide.
No tl;dr, sorry folks. I know it’s a silly question, but I’d like some honest opinions. I’m hoping to ask him to this Easter dance my school is having soon, or buy him a candy-gram for Easter… so I’d like some opinions, alright? Thank you very much for reading, and please help me out.
